You start with your units and your flag. So does the enemy. The goal is to either capture their flag and return to your depot or eliminate their forces before they do the same to you.

Combat works on a grid with terrain affecting movement and defense. Unit types have strengths and weaknesses against each other. Positioning and unit composition matter.
