There are several situations that may cause a person to feel disconnected from a culture they wish to engage with:

- You are 2nd or 3rd generation and your parents prioritized you getting a customed to your new home country's way of life.

- You are introduced to a culture through a new relationship; wife, kids, friends, etc.

- You reside in an area with little to no presence of your culture.

While there are many solutions out there:

- Online courses - Too formal

No soul or social connection.

- Language Learning Apps - While language is one of the main portions of a culture, it isn't the only aspect.

- Meetups - There isn't always an event in your area, can be overwhelming for introverts, and they aren't always consistent.

- Facebook Groups - Great for finding people, but again not always in your area, no in depth learning, and people don't often engage.

They don't solve the core problem, which is that people feel disconnected
